The scientific meeting of AJMF is held every two years.
The Organising Committee is delighted to extend an invitation to all interested practitioners, Medical and Dental, to attend “IN GOOD HEALTH 2008”, the biennial conference of AJMF. This is an opportunity to extend your professional vistas, in every sense.
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to register for the 14th Biennial Conference of the Australasian Jewish Medical Federation.
The conference will be held in a 5 star luxury resort located on the Tweed
coast, 15 minutes drive south of Coolangatta Airport and 30mins drive north
of Byron Bay.
The resort boasts two swimming pools, tennis court, Golden Door day spa centre
and two golf courses in close proximity.
It has a patrolled surf beach, bike paths and lies adjacent to a small village
centre including supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops.
It is just a leisurely 15 min walk along the beach boardwalk to neighboring
Kingscliff.
This resort was specially chosen because of its appeal for singles, couples and families.
The social program will begin with a Sunday evening poolside cocktail party.
There will be a keynote address at our conference dinner on Tuesday night followed
by local entertainment.
The children will have their own dinner and entertainment this night. A Trivia
night and panel discussion is also planned for Monday and Thursday nights. As
Wednesday will be a free day you will have the opportunity to enjoy the surrounds.
Friday dinner and a Saturday night farewell BBQ will be provided for all. There
will be 4 mornings of scientific program followed by a light lunch for delegates;
families of delegates are welcome to join us for lunches at an additional charge.
All conference meals will be Kosher under the supervision of Rabbi Ralph Genende
our Rabbi in residence.
Tweed Coast Adventures have been engaged to provide an action packed range of morning activities for children (7-14 years) and this will cost an additional $40 per child per session.
Accommodation bookings need to be made directly with the resort as soon as possible, rooms will not be held beyond August 31. We have negotiated special rates for conference participants.
Every effort has been made to minimize the costs and maximize value.
