Switzerland will be hosting an important international conference discussing a variety of ethical and legal issues related to the value of human life with special emphasis on the Jewish perspective.

The 1st International Conference on Jewish Medical Ethics in Switzerland will be held from March 6th to 10th 2008 at the beautiful Hotel Fürigen (Kosher Lemehadrin during the conference), overlooking the world famous Lake Lucerne and only a few miles from the Titlis Ski Resort.

A bouquet of fascinating lectures on topics such as the beginning and end of life, organ transplants, brain death, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, stem cell therapy and disease prevention will be presented by the world?s leading figures in Jewish Medical Ethics and Swiss opinion leaders in the field.
